Two Wheel Africa Tours is able to source most motorbike models that you could possibly want to ride. However, the tours that go on gravel roads require hiring BMW motorbikes and we recommend the F650GS or 1200GS models. Harley bikes never go on gravel! We have tours that are perfectly suited to Harleys.

Bike hire is directly through the bike hire companies but Two Wheel Africa Tours will handle the booking and paperwork so that all you have to do is sign and collect the bikes once arriving in South Africa.

Please note that you will need a motorcycle licence that has been valid for at least 5 years to secure a bike booking. Bike hire companies only hire to people 25 years old and older. Sorry!

If you have your own bike, you are obviously most welcome to ride your own bike and the cost of the tour is less bike hire. We will take no responsibility for any mechanical failures in this case.
