Garden Route 62

This is surely one of the most popular routes in South Africa – and for good reason.  It is spectacular.

This tour takes you on the Route 62 which passes many quaint towns like Montague and Barrydale.  There is a visit to Outshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world.  The way back is via the coast passing Knysna and Agulhas which is the most southern tip of Africa.  We will probably see whales as we pass Hermanus en route back to Cape Town.

This is a 6 day tour but it is possible to add in more visits to nature reserves and points of interest and some adrenalin sports, in which case add on another day or two for sightseeing. This tour is most enjoyable at a leisurely pace due to there being so much to see and do.

This tour can be tar only or you can include gravel roads.
